At the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains and 1/2 mile from the Appalachian Trail, I installed this D702 Aermotor on a new 60′ Tower. It was in early April 2019 and the Redbud trees were just blooming. I rented a local crane and dug the sandy soil with a mini excavator. The location is the future site of antique tractor and farming showgrounds. Note how the D31 Vane is sagging…this is due to the manufacturer making them too heavy. 2019
