Just completed this project near Havana, IL. Customer had severely bent the old tower while taking it down, then, intentionally separated it into two halves to safely haul it. When he did, the tower literally collapsed onto itself!  I wish I had a photo of this mill before we started the repairs and re-assembly, it was a mess!  Vintage 4-post  tower was 55′ tall and received a rebuilt Aermotor A702 on it. Customer wanted old Chicago logo painted on the tail and red tips on the wheel. Very sandy soil over there so we dig a bell shape at bottom of the anchor holes so concrete locks into earth better.  Sunny photo is deceiving…it was 13 F degrees that morning!
